This week was the last of the carnage runs on Wednesday nights with Next Adventure. I only made it to a few of them this year, but had fun all the same. At least I got up to Bob’s early and Virgil was already there so we talked and waited for probably 10 minutes for the rest of the group. Luke brought up a tent and food for the BBQ after the run that I couldn’t stay for unfortunately. The run itself was really cool it was the biggest group for the carnage run I had seen turn up yet. We put in at Fish and started heading down and we tried to get down as quickly as we possibly could. The water was pretty low but everyone still had a great time. Everyone stopped to play at Carter Falls and Rock N’ Roll just for a few minutes cause we were losing light fast. At the end of the run people played a little longer at the couple of small holes at Bob’s then we all jumped out got dressed and ran shuttle. I stuck around until everyone got back and then I said my goodbyes talked to Luke about the East Fork of the Lewis and the Lower Lewis to see what time they were going to be doing them. I extremely regret having to leave so early and not being able to stay for the BBQ it looked like fun before I had left and almost stayed although I had made a promise to my friends that I would go to the corn maze with them.
